Growing up I have always heard my elders say that time goes by so fast. I didn’t believe them at first. I mean, as a kid it seems like we wait forever for Christmas to come. I believe it is because the kids don’t do the buying, haha! Now that I am older and have my own family, I see exactly what they mean! Time really does fly by! In some way that is a good thing and then again, sometimes I would like it to just slow down just a bit.
Just like Kenny Chesney sings…
Just like that you’re six years old and you take a nap and you
Wake up and you’re twenty-five and your high school sweetheart becomes your wife
You just might miss your babies growing like mine did
Turning into moms and dads next thing you know your better half
Of fifty years is there in bed
And you’re praying God takes you instead
Trust me friend a hundred years goes faster than you think
So don’t blink”
After having Nora Mae it really hit me how fast the little ones actually grow! I want the time to go by quickly, so that her daddy can come home from his temporary duty assignment. Once he comes home, it needs to slow down for sure. That would be the only reason I would want it to fly by at this moment in time. We are about half way done, roughly three more months to go. Miss you like crazy, Paul! We love you!
Nora is such a good baby! I couldn’t be more happy, other than having the hubs home of course. As much as I dread getting up and taking care of her when I can barely keep my eyes open, she always seems to light up my world. The morning time is when she is most talkative and playful. Thank goodness she is a morning person like me!
I love my three girls more than anything in the world! I couldn’t ask for a better baby and pups than the ones I have now. Kenzi and Lyla seriously are so good with Nora, it makes my heart melt when they show how much they love that little girl. Nora is a very lucky girl to have such amazing companions to grow up with.
Very proud Mama of three amazing children.
