Military life has truly allowed me to meet some pretty amazing people. People from all over the world. Since living in Las Vegas, I have had the pleasure of knowing the Agundez Family. They are so super sweet! Not long ago, the military does what it is good at doing, bringing people together only to eventually move them away. When I got word that they were moving, I was uber sad. I worked with Mariko and she would do anything for anyone. She is an awesome baker! (Thank you for the yummy cupcakes, by the way!) We had many wonderful days and conversations that I will never forget.
When Mariko asked me to take her first born’s newborn photos I was very excited. Now he is ONE! Where does time go? When she told me that there would is no other person that she would want to take his 1st birthday photos and family photos other than me, my heart skipped a beat. Even being on the opposite side of the country we still managed to coordinate their session for when I would be home. It is such an honor to have such devoted clients! Thank you for trusting in me to be YOUR family photographer no matter how far apart we are! I absolutely LOVE watching your family grow!
We started out their session in a grassy area for the smashing of the cake then moved over to the beach for some family photos. (Man I miss the beach!) I wanted them to have some photos of just the two of them. So what’s a photographer to do? Well, hold a one year old and the dog on a leash in one arm and shoot with the other! Yup, I so did that! I swear having a baby myself took my multitasking skills to a whole new level!
Thank you Mariko for being such a sweet person and sharing your family with me.
