I am so excited to share some of my favorites from this Las Vegas maternity session. It was a perfect day with these two parents-to-be and their sweet pup, Leroy. As a military spouse/girlfriend or child, we all dread the day our active duty family member has to leave for any amount of time. I met Allyssa on a Facebook military spouse support group. After finding out she was expecting, she was told that she would be left alone for a few months. Yea, I know, it is only a few months, but it is the longest few months ever! Trust me. It always seems like it will never end. It totally sucks being alone, especially alone and pregnant or alone with a new baby. When she told me she wanted ME to photograph their maternity photos, I was beyond thrilled and oh so honored! Nine months goes by so fast and it is such an innocent and precious time in a woman’s life. I remember carrying my little one like it was yesterday – just amazing! There is something about growing a tiny human and knowing that you have joined two people in love into one precious being. Just breathtaking!
The planning of their session was super easy going. Allyssa preferred a desert landscape and Cameron wanted a more woodland look and I had the perfect location to fit both of them into their session. Helping my clients design their entire experience makes me giddy, even when I get pictures of their outfits! I do this because I want everything to be perfect, just as they deserve!
Allyssa and Cameron, thank you for allowing my images to become part of your family’s history. It was such an honor! I just know that you and your family will cherish these for generations. Congratulations again on your bundle of joy! I know you are just overwhelmed with love and happiness in your life. Enjoy every minute! ((HUGS))

Supper in the front yard made with fresh veggies from the family garden and homemade sourdough artisan bread, goats and chickens, and horses to ride. The most relaxed and sentimental family session with the most amazing family.
Check out all the wonderful moments from this session, right before baby number 3 was announced into their family unit.
