This Las Vegas Dry Lake Bed Elopement for the lovely couple, Mariana & Danny, was very eventful. There are so many details about this day that make it superb.
At the beginning phase of planning their dream wedding, they had a big wedding in mind. One that would require family and friends to fly in from different countries and states. As their wedding day got closer, Mariana’s father got sick. Don’t worry, he is doing fabulous. 🙂 Mariana and Danny decided not to do the big wedding for a couple reasons. Instead of family and friends traveling to them for a wedding, the decided to have a Las Vegas Dry Lake Bed Elopement and then travel to the different places to see their loved ones as their honeymoon trip. These two are all about spontaneousness and surprises, so it was perfect and so them! I am actually quite jealous of their honeymoon adventures.
When Danny contacted me about their elopement plans, I was sure this day would be nothing short of fabulous. Danny was in charge of planning the ceremony, and all the details were planned to be a surprise for Mariana. Danny planned a Las Vegas Dry Lake Bed Elopement, equipped with Elvis to rock out to, a pop-up wedding with Victoria at Flora Pop, and myself, the photographer, to document the day as it unfolded. At the end of the day, Danny also surprised Mariana with videos from all their family wishing them the best as they carrying on life as husband and wife. Total tear jerker and I fought back tears as I watched the joy and love coming from Mariana. Mariana’s surprise was the crazy awesome Shelby Cobra for Danny on the day of their elopement and the custom designed “Just Married” flag that flew on the back of the car as the headed off into the sunset. These two love to surprise each other, so why not do the same on their special wedding day.
As we arrived at the dry lake bed for this Las Vegas Dry Lake Bed Elopement, it was about 106 degrees and very windy. The weather did not phase these two one bit and they embraced every bit of it. The love and passion they have for one another far outweighed anything else that was going on around them. It was simply beautiful. Mariana kept saying, “This is a dream!” Every time she said it Danny would have this smile that on one else could bring out of him. These two are so in love and perfect for each other.
Mariana & Danny, I don’t think there could have been a more perfect day for you two to join hands and say “I do.” Your love for one another sparkled so bright that day. I am sure it still does and it always will, as you two are true soul mates. Thank you for allowing me to document this special day as you became husband and wife. I hope you had a fabulous honeymoon trip around the world – literally. Thanks Danny for sending me the photo of your first stay in California – it looked absolutely amazing! XOXO, Myrna
