Stars, Stripes & Love // Las Vegas Couples Portraits

Happy Independence Day! Stars, Stripes, and Love was the entirety of what this Las Vegas Couples Portrait Session was all about. I was instantly excited about this session after hearing the desired idea for this beautiful and memorable day.

Alan, an Airman of the United States Air Force, and his stunning and supportive wife, Bailey, were stationed in Las Vegas for a few years at the time of their session. When the time came for Alan & Bailey’s lives to enter a new chapter, and on the other side of the country, they knew that documenting this memory in Las Vegas was important to them. Not only moving but returning back into the world as a civilian. Anyone that has ever experienced life after serving their country, can empathize with this big step and the challenges that can come with it. I have no doubt in my mind that these two, together, can succeed in anything that their heart desires.

There isn’t much that Alan can’t do to make Bailey laugh. He knows just the way to make his wife smile and laugh with little effort. In return, Bailey can bring out that sparkle in her husbands eyes, just by having him look at his perfect wife.  It is a perfect connection that never diminished since the day they said “I do.”

Alan & Bailey brought an American Flag to show their pride and love for their country. As they held up the flag, the desert wind brought life to the flag and the sun beamed through and created one magical moment. I wanted to start singing the Star Spangled Banner, but I figured I would spare them. The location was secluded and quiet, and the mood was absolutely perfect.

Alan & Bailey, It was such an honor to capture this memorable moment in your lives. Your service to our country is appreciated. I wish you both the very best as your make your transition back into civilian life. May you have many more years of the love and affection that you shared with me on the day we documented this beautiful memory. XOXO, Myrna.
