My little one in her floral yellow dress and her curly red hair on one of our beautiful Guam beaches. I can’t even deal.
Where do I even start?
My sweet Nora made me a mama in 2014. With her daddy and his many military ventures away from home, her and I became really close. She is my sidekick, my life, my everything. I hate that time is flying by so quickly, but I really enjoy watching her grow and flourish. Being by her side to guide her, teach her, and love her is my job and duty as her mama. With another one on the way, she will always be my baby, my sweet girl and my partner in crime. I will always cherish these moments of adventuring with her and will always envy her gorgeous curly red hair.
As we rapidly approach the debut of her little brother, I am overwhelmed with love by the excitement she expresses of being a big sister. I know that she will help guide, teach, protect, and love on her brother like none else can. I can’t wait to document those days, too.
I have to say, I am pretty jealous of her abundance of photos of her growing up, this one being one of them. When she is older, I want her to really be able to see her life while growing up through the images that myself and others take. Because let’s be honest, photos are really the only way to actually look back on life as it was and share with future generations.
At this very moment she is obsessed with sounding out words and figuring out what letter they start with, writing her name, and drawing hearts and flowers. She is a natural creative and my heart overflows with joy that she is expressing her interest in the creative world. She has an invisible friend that just showed up recently. Her name is Inty. Sometimes I have no idea if she is talking to me or this “friend.” She loves her school and telling the world how she feels. She has an adventurous heart and I am excited to follow her throughout her life as she expresses herself.
I love you Nora Mae.
Last night started out super grey in the sky and half way through the beautiful Guam sunset made it’s appearance. It was absolutely breathtaking and my little one in her floral yellow dress and red hair made it that much more perfect.
Now I am going to hide under a pillow and sob over the fact that my baby is becoming such a beautiful and big girl.

Supper in the front yard made with fresh veggies from the family garden and homemade sourdough artisan bread, goats and chickens, and horses to ride. The most relaxed and sentimental family session with the most amazing family.
Check out all the wonderful moments from this session, right before baby number 3 was announced into their family unit.
